Lies belay the truth
Replaces it with myth
That ripens into folklore
Truth adheres to nothing
Heedlessly retreating
Breaking into the tiniest of molecules
Floating noiselessly
Drifting further apart
Until time casts it out
And the universe replaces it with nothing
